An unprecedented public/private multi-partner platform
The current OrphanDev project brings together around fifty actors in the field of rare diseases, both academic, private and civil society.
The development of the network stems from a triple need:
- transversality: space for dialogue and consultation to gain complementarity and efficiency
- greater decompartmentalization between the industrial and academic spheres by improving dialogue and processes: public-private interface
- providing facilitating expertise to accelerate the availability of innovations for patients: removal of administrative, regulatory and legal obstacles
OrphanDev is a public-private collaborative network.
It is led by a hard core of founding members. Around fifty experts in rare diseases take part in its work. They represent 4 main types of stakeholders.
